Most Yankees fans talk about the infamous chicken bucket, which comes with about eight chicken tenders and an absurd amount of french fries. Don’t get me wrong, it’s tasty, but it’s nowhere near the top of the best food options at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, New York.
So, what are the best options, you ask? Everyone has different preferences and tastes, so I'll preface this by saying my taste buds are different from yours. Nevertheless, you’d be crazy not to try my three favorite Yankee Stadium food items.
BBQ Filet Tip Loaded Tater Tots from Lobel’s (Section 134) - If you hate getting your hands dirty while eating, the loaded tater tots from Lobel’s are for you. Not only is the filet juicy, but it also comes with cheddar cheese and crispy fried onions. The tots and filet can be eaten with a fork, so no knife is needed—the meal pairs perfectly with a 24-ounce Miller Lite.
Chicken Wings from Mighty Quinn’s (Section 132) - Well seasoned. Crispy. And tossed in chili-lime sauce. What else is there to ask for? These wings pair perfectly with a 24-ounce Miller Lite, too. Or so I’ve heard.
Bacon Crunchburger from Bobby’s Burgers (Section 132) - This may not be your best burger. But it’s a damn good one. Topped with American cheese and potato chips, the Bacon Crunchburger also comes with Bobby’s Sauce, which I’m pretty sure is just a combination of ketchup and mayo. If you are a blue cheese fan, ask them for a side of blue cheese to dip the burger into. Need something to wash this down with? I’ve got the perfect drink for you.
You guessed it—a large Diet Coke with lots of ice.
More to come!
Love the drink pairings! 🍺
