Spring Training Games on YES Network
Which Spring Training Games will the YES Network Broadcast?
I’ve always considered the end of the Super Bowl to be the start of the Major League Baseball season. This year, only two days separate the Super Bowl (Feb. 9) and when pitchers and catchers report to Spring Training for the Yankees (Feb. 11).
The Yankees’ first pitchers and catchers workout is on Feb. 12, and position players report to camp on Feb. 16. The first full-squad workout is on Feb. 17.
The Yankees open their 2025 Spring Training schedule on Feb. 21 at George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, Florida, against the Tampa Bay Rays. Coincidentally, the Rays will play all of their regular season home games at the Yankees’ Spring Training stadium due to the damage Hurricane Milton caused Tropicana Field, the usual home field of the Rays in St. Petersburg.
The YES Network will broadcast a handful of Yankees games during Spring Training in 2025. Below is a list of each Spring Training game YES will broadcast for fans itching to watch Yankees baseball before Opening Day on Thursday, March 27.

Note: Feb. 28, March 11, March 16, March 17, March 19, and March 21 are split-squad days for the Yankees. This means the Yankees’ Spring Training roster will be split into two groups. One group will play one game while the other plays their respective game.
For example, the Yankees will split their roster into two teams on March 16. One team will play the Pittsburgh Pirates at George M. Steinbrenner Field, and the other will travel to Charlotte Sports Park in Port Charlotte to face the Tampa Bay Rays. Both games will occur at 1:05 p.m. EST.
